Edwin, JC to remain in the lead on Day 3
Like it was on Wednesday's second day of competition at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys an d Girls' Athletics Championships, things should remain the same after today's third day of competition.
With 13 finals down to be contested, seven among the girls and six among the boys, both Edwin Allen and Jamaica College (JC) will still be in pole position.
Led by strong performances in the 400 metres, Hydel's girls are expected to cut into the defending champions' lead, as they look set to pick up some 34 points to Edwin Allen's nine. Overall, Hydel should collect 57 points on the day to the defending champions' 28, while Holmwood should rake in 47.
It should be tit for tat among the boys today, where both frontrunners JC and Kingston College (KC) will be evenly matched in the respective finals.
With 38 points on the day, JC will pick up three points over the defending champions' 35, while Calabar will garner 31.
Overall standings among the top three should be:

2. Edwin Allen 89
3. Holmwood 70
