Cayman-based dancehall-reggae artiste Lyrical Shaw has recorded a cover version of Dennis Brown's timeless reggae classic, ' Love Has Found Its Way'.

The original is the title track for Brown's album which was released by American record label A&M Records in 1982. The song was released as a single on July 3, 1982, and peaked at number 42 in its ninth week on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs Chart. The Spanish Town-born singjay Lyrical Shaw, who grew up in Seaforth, St Thomas, said that he has been a lifelong fan of Brown, who was dubbed 'The Crown Prince of Reggae'.

"Growing up as a youth in Jamaica during the '70s and '80s, it was impossible to go anywhere and not hear Dennis Brown's music. I've been a Dennis Brown fan since I was a little boy. I love all of his songs, especially Love Has Found Its Way. He made a lasting impact on the world because of the quality of his music. His vocals were amazing, which added a mesmerising quality to all of his songs. He was a truly great singer," he said.

Lyrical Shaw, given name James Shaw, believes that while he is "no Dennis Brown", he did a good job on this recording, which was done on his Lyrical Shaw Music label.

Some of Lyrical Shaw's other songs are It's A Party, Unfaithful, and When You're Wrong.
