54 new COVID cases but 145 more Jamaicans recover from virus
The number of Jamaicans recovering from COVID-19 continue to see significant increase, as Jamaica on Tuesday recorded another 145 more recoveries, for a tally of 6,500.
Meanwhile, there were 54 new cases with ages ranging from 3 to 94 years, pushing the total to 10,864 with 3,957 being active.
Of the new cases, 32 are males and 22 are females.
Some 75 persons are in hospital with 17 being moderately and 10 critically ill.
Two persons are in government quarantine, while 22,668 are quarantined at home.
No new deaths were recorded on Tuesday.
