A third wanted man from western Jamaica has been captured in less than a week.

Isaiah Perry, otherwise called 'Cat', from Kings Valley, Westmoreland, was taken into custody during an early morning raid on a house in the community yesterday. A woman was also taken into custody.

Police report that an intelligence-driven operation was carried out in Kings Valley between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. A police source told THE STAR that Perry was apprehended while he and the woman were asleep.

Commanding officer for the Westmoreland police, Superintendent Robert Gordon, said Perry, the division's most wanted man, was being sought for murder, shooting, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, among other crimes.

Gordon said that Perry is a major player in the Kings Valley gang, and has been fingered in several murders committed around Westmoreland.

Last week, two of St James' most wanted men, Christopher 'Plank' Boyd, and Lennox 'Rus Eye' McLeod, were held during a series of operations in St Andrew.
