Aubyn Hill is new JLP treasurer
Phillip Henriques is now focused on contesting North West Clarendon for the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP), and the governing party has taken the burden of fundraising off his shoulders.
Henriques, who is seeking to unseat the People's National Party's Richard Azan, has been replaced by Senator Aubyn Hill as JLP treasurer. "Senator Hill brings to the table a wealth of experience in finance both locally and abroad," the party said in a media release yesterday.
Hill, a former managing director of the National Commercial Bank, has over 35 years' working experience in the private sector. He sits on various corporate boards and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has lived in nine nations and travelled and done business in about 118 countries.
