Serial rapist ARRESTED - Manchester cops call for victims to make reports
The police in Manchester are appealing to persons who may have been victims of rape, robbery or unlawful wounding in the parish to come forward with reports. The call follows the arrest and charge of a man, charged for several counts of these crimes last Thursday.
The man, 29, hails from Sunset Drive, Knockpatrick in Manchester.
The police said that he was held following a series of thorough investigations spanning between November 2019 and January 2020, after several reports from residents.
“Citizens are being reassured that once a report is made to the police no effort will be spared to carry out a detailed investigation, as we are committed to keeping you safe,” the police said.
The Manchester police received no report of rape in the first 46 days of 2020. There was one report in St Elizabeth and two in Clarendon.
